As you could tell Elders was falling apart.  For a while now people have been asking me to rebuild.  I am unable to do so.  I wish you well in your future endeavors, but Elders is no longer.  I want you to know that I am still around, and and willing to help.

With our attempts at Naxx going on Sara, 12 and I have found that we still need to get people geared.  Patchwork is a make or break type of boss for DPS, tanks and healers.  And we are not there yet.

I know I have set up teams, and the people in them are proven solid players when we were in Kara. But right now, most people are under geared for Naxx, and we need to fix that.

I have 3 issues:

1) People are not getting invited to runs.

 This seams to be a common thing thoughout the guild.  I have tried to get my tank up as fast as possible so that I can help get tank/heal units going to get people more gear.

IF YOU ARE FINDING THAT YOU ARE NOT BEING INCLUDED IN RUNS, please let me know via in-game mail, and do your best to be vocal about it.  I am not asking for you to whine, but to be pro-active about letting the guild know that you still need gear!  We need to try to get everyone geared up.

2) Know what gear you need.

I am being asked a lot about what gear do I need to be Naxx ready.  As there is no universal place to find this information yet, it is out there and you need to find it.  There are class specific sites that can tell you what you need to get and from what quests or instances. 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take 10 mins, google "Your Class Pre-Naxx Gear" and figure out what you need to get.  Ask people to take you to that place, or.....yes....I am saying this.....PUG a run there.

I got the first Badge of Heroism in the guild with a PUG group, why, because I wanted to show everyone that we can.  Some groups work, some suck.  If you have 2-3 Elders and 2-3 PUGs the group tends to do very very well.  Please be open to this.

3) Holiday Schedules for a lot of people.

I know that I will not be here for a week this Holiday Season, and I would bet that a lot of our members will be doing things for the holidays.  There may be Naxx runs going, depending on if a raid leader wants to start up a run.  But there are no scheduled events until after the holidays.  Please take this time to address not getting into groups and getting yourself geared up for Naxx.

I have posted a rough team list for Naxx in the Fourms!

Also, make sure to read the new rules as well. We are going to adhear to them as it will make things easier.

Times and days are still being set up, once we get them final I will let you know.

If you are 78 and higher and not on the list, please let me know so I can get you on a team.

 

EofA is looking for a few good tanks and healers to help in the creation of our fourth Naxx team. if you are interested in a non-DPK, fun adult minded guild that like to help, please apply today in our fourms. We do have an age requirement of 21 years or older.
